The cruise started with a chilly but beautiful sunny day with most boats launching from the East Echuca ramp. Sienna Bel, Lyn Maree and Karalyn II joined Force 4, Braveheart, Sapphire and Impulse early Saturday morning. With such a good turn out the weekend was certain to be a good outing for all.

We departed RVMYC in the early hours on Saturday morning after an overnight stop at the Club in Williamstown where we enjoyed good hospitality and a few sherbets. Braveheart and Impulse headed towards Port Welshpool arriving around 9.30am.

Lake Eildon never disappoints, in winter it can be very mystical with morning fog, we have even seen snow on the nearby mountain tops with crisp days and in summer the lake is warm with beautiful sunny days and on any clear night the stars are amazing and will have anyone mesmerized.

Well, it is that time of year again, and with Xmas just round the corner, the VFMCC had it's annual xmas bash, this time at Hastings on Westernport Bay, with a 20 course dinner cruise on the Georgianna McHaffie.

We all met up at the Warmies on Saturday morning to Launch the boats, and store the trailers, thanks to the very accommodating staff at the Anchorage Marina. Due to the rough and windy conditions we decided to explore the new Edgewater estate on the Maribyrnong and enjoyed lunch tied up to the empty pontoons. The sun was shining and the weather mild, and a few of us took a walk around the Estate there.
